ReadMate™ Technology

ReadMate™ is the underlying technology used in the Alex Reader. Spring Design is continuing to develop solutions to further enhance the ReadMate technology and broaden the functionality and versatility of eReaders.

With ReadMate technology, both LCD and EPD displays can be used in concert, bringing together the efficiency of reading on the EPD with the responsiveness and user experience richness of the LCD.

Using patented ReadMate technology, control and content of an application can be easily transferred from the LCD to the EPD, or vice versa.

With ReadMate technology, the EPD is not just for reading books anymore. Read your email, news, blogs, your own documents, or the entire web. Any supported application and document can be read on the EPD effortlessly, comfortably, and efficiently.
